43

08:10 AM ET 05.04 | As part of a promotion, season tickets in Charlotte could come as cheap as $43. Yes, for the whole season. The team started advertising a promotion Wednesday where the price for an upper-deck seat will equal the draft pick the team wins in the lottery later this month. Should the NBA-worst Bobcats get the top pick, the season ticket would be $1 per game, or $43 for the season. ... The Bobcats are guaranteed one of the top four picks after their dismal season, with a 25 percent chance of winning the right to draft consensus No. 1 Anthony Davis. Even if the team falls to No. 4, the seats are $4 per game, or $172 for the season. About 500 seats are eligible for the "Pay the Pick" promotion, which runs through the draft lottery on May 30.

Saw this yesterday anyone close to Charlotte and who likes the NBA should do this. It's upper deck seats but still cheap. It is cheap enough to make a profit on elite teams when they come to Charlotte

I'd buy it right away! Just go there to get autographs from the opposing teams.

Yeah it is a great deal to the 500 seats/fans that get it.

Is it really? In the end, we're still talking about watching the Bobcats.

True but I would go to watch the other elite teams that are sure to be sellouts Heat, OKC, Lakers, etc.

May 4, 2012  09:09 AM ET

And I still Wouldn't Go To There Games!!!! LOL!!!!

unfortnately....technically- it might be considered endangerment of a childor abuse if you took kids there to watch that

at least though you would get to see all the other teams stars come through....And you know all the LA laker fans born and raised in North Carolina are excited....lol

This is what happens to teams that attempt to cheat the system and pocket any revenue. Jordan have destroyed any of hopes of the Bobcats winning. Jordan would perfer to assemble a team of lotto picks and hope for the same success as Oklahoma.

Unlike Melo last night, I'll pass. They couldn't pay me to go to their games!!! Just kidding, I would take this deal in a heartbeat. I bet Jordan was against this move though.

like i said you still get to see all the other teams come through....If you are a knicks fan living down that way that would be a good deal....

I think next year they will be much better than this year....Maybe a 15 to 18 win team...lol

The Only Night I would waste 43 Dollars on a Bobcat Ticket is if the celtics were in town....
