Discomfort stemming from Rondo's growth

08:16 AM ET 05.04 | Rajon Rondo once took heat for how much of Ray Allen's lead he was following. He has spent the past two seasons undergoing the complicated transformation from a Big Three appendage to the key cog and future of the Celtics' franchise. With that has come the need to establish his own identity -- and generate some independence from the three Hall of Famers who have mentored him from the start. Naturally, that process has, at times, created some discomfort. Privately, his veteran teammates wish Rondo worked harder, longer. And yet, in the same breath, they laud his toughness, fearlessness and insatiable thirst for competition. It has been nearly three years since Rondo shadowed Allen during his pregame routine. "I don't really know what happened," Allen shrugged.

Sorry for the typos. Lets try this again...So lets see who will be out in the first round... The Celtics, Knicks, Magic, Sixers, Mavs, Jazz, Clippers and Nuggets. While nobody likes to lose, at lesat my Knicks are in good company.(That's better)

Sorry Sir, I Think the Celtics Are Moving On.... Especially If Josh Smith Ain't Playing tonight.... we'll Be up 2-1 with another game at home....

This article is ridiculous, Rondo is the center of that team without him they would be an early round exit he is one of the Top 5 Pgs in the league. SOme might argue he is the best pure Pg right now.

Celtics won't be losing the first round no matter how much you hope Doc. And the Knicks will never be in their company either!

Rondo is a head case that is losing my support rapidly.

I say trade him while his value is high... because his attitude is going to destroy his potential very soon.

Agreed. I become more and more concerned about his attitude every year.

No.....nobody's gonna argue that until he can consistently hit the open 18 footer (LMAO) ! Best pure PG in the league.....take your pick between Nash, Paul or D.Williams.
