09:44 AM ET 05.06 | If Amar'e Stoudemire takes his bandaged left hand onto the court for the Knicks in Game 4 against the Heat today, he could be met with a shower of Garden boos to remind him of the crowd's displeasure with his self-inflicted wound. Interim coach Mike Woodson said he hopes Stoudemire is cheered like any other Knicks player and said now is not the time to make a point. "[The fans] should be supportive," Woodson said. "Amar'e has been solid, I think, all year. There was bad judgement in what he's done. But he's in a New York uniform. He's a big part of what we do. I love Amar'e. These fans know he made a mistake. They'll be in his corner, I think."

Hopefully the good news is there isn't long term damage.

If the fans boo it should be at the Knicks organization. Sure, they made the playoffs, but this collaboration of Melo and Amare is a joke. One man does not pass the ball on offense and one man does not play defense. This team really should have stuck with David Lee in 2010. Also, take out Melo and plug in Chauncey Billups, Wilson Chandler, and another have decent player from this past free agency and I think this TEAM would be better. I bold TEAM because individual statistics would go down, but team effort, along with consistency would go up. My $0.02.
