08:01 AM ET 05.07 | Among his 23 wins at Oklahoma State, Brandon Weeden beat Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Ryan Tannehill. Two coaches who managed to beat him say it was more a matter of outlasting him. When Iowa State upset Oklahoma State, 37-31, in double overtime last season, defensive coordinator Wally Burnham said they never ran the same coverage two plays in row and focused entirely on pass defense. "We didn't fear his running like we did RG III or even Tannehill," he said. The Cyclones often sent five and six pass-rushers to try to shake him up. "He got quick feet. He got nervous," Burnham said. "He really threw the ball away in a hurry. I'm not saying he was scared, he just wanted to get the ball out to his hot receiver."

Well then, Wally, I'm sure that 31 NFL teams appreciate your insight because everyone was trying to figure out how to stop the Browns this year.

With five or six pass-rushers coming after me, I'd want to get rid of the ball in a hurry, too.

This is Cleveland's problem, who cares ?

Yeah, I thought that was kinda the idea.

Browns coaches will just say that he's got a 'quick release.'

Cleveland - that's in Ohio , right??? - didn't know they had professional sports there

So this article singles out their loss to ISU shortly after a plane crash took the lives of some of the Okie St. women's hoop team? I wouldn't be suprised if the entire team had other things on their minds other than a d*mn football game.

Stop using that excuse....
Oklahoma State had a 17 point lead and blew it.

That's the FIRST time I have ever said that. So tell someone else to stop using that excuse. Nice try though.

Didn't mean you personally...sorry for the misunderstanding.
But that excuse has been used by many people way too many times to explain away that loss and provide justification for Okie State to have played in the BCS championship game last season.

Hmm, a quarterback with some room to improve his game. Never heard of that in a rookie QB before, very insightful coach, explain the rest of the games he played then. I am sure that there are more than just Weeden with some issues to their game.
