08:34 AM ET 05.07 | Alex Pietrangelo, who is believed to have played through a knee injury suffered in Game 1, isn't alone among the skating wounded. Blues captain David Backes did acknowledge that he was tested for appendicitis after having some gastric issues during the playoffs, but he said he does not have appendicitis. After putting that to rest, Backes said he agreed with Hitchcock's stance of not leaking the injury list. "I hate that because it's almost like, 'Well, if we didn't have injuries, we would have been a lot better,'" Backes said. ... Backes went as far as saying, "If a list of injuries comes out, I'm not going to be very happy because I just think whatever it is, we play through it. Or else you take yourself out of the lineup and let someone that is capable and willing and they'll fight through it."

Yup and LA took it to a team that is a bit bigger than they are. Out-skated and out-hit them. made their all world back up goalie look rather pedestrian in the process.

Bye bye Captain Kangaroo!

At least Sutter looks a lot like this guy.

QUOTE(#6):

I'm sick of hearing after every series "Oh, well this guy and this guy had flaming sphinctor syndrome and as a result kept both him and his roommate awake at night and left them not in game shape." Name one player when the Cup is hoisted whose body isn't bruised and battered.

Phil Kessel!

Agreed. Take a good look at the Rangers. I don't remember when I last saw so many stitches on so many faces on one team.

Is this the Calgary Flames worst nightmare? Sutter may lead the Kings to the Cup Finals.

Not to mention the Flyers worst nightmare - to watch Carter lift the cup.

And the Blues laughed so hard they choked.

I wonder if the Blues heard Twilight Zone music when Canucks adopted them as one of his teams.....
