Izzo and LeBron, together in Miami?

08:09 AM ET 05.09 | Would Tom Izzo use LeBron James as a decoy? "It would be hard," Izzo said. "I'd like to have that problem. You'd say, 'Hey, LeBron, go to the corner and sit there and watch.'" He gave a throaty chuckle. "I don't think normally they really do that either," Izzo said. ... Izzo, by the way, thinks Spoelstra has done an "incredible job," pointing out how the young coach "had to balance egos and mesh the superstars together." Still, you can bet Izzo's name will be near the top of potential coaching replacements should the Heat fall short again this year. At 57, he'd make a lot more sense than a run at Mike Krzyzewski, even with the Heat's strong Duke and Team USA ties.

Spo does seems to be overmatched in some of his coaching decisions. I think because of this a small percentage of why Miami hasn't won a ring and most certainly if they don't win the ring this year he bears. Pops, Rivers are already taken and Riles won't come to the bench. These three could most certainly get the job done. If the Heat don't win this year some decisions need to be made.

How about Josh Hamilton's 4 2 run homerun and 5-5?

He's pretty good, isn't he?

True. Proof he turned down a gig in Cleveland. Why would he want to go to Miami???? Oh I forgot. Cuban pressed sandwiches.

QUOTE(#6):

Coach K will never leave Duke and Izzo, while pretty good, wouldn't make much of a difference if any if he were to go to Miami. Personally I can't understand why Izzo continues to enjoy the reputation he has. He's good, but is he great? Not to me.

Izzo is great. He never gets the talent that Duke gets (or NC for that matter) and always gets a lot out of what he does get. He's the only coach on a par the coach K, (of course only IMO).

Why is Tom Izzo, a college coach who never coached in the NBA, even on record as to how he would play LeBron, an NBA player who never played college ball?

Miami will do well with Phil Jackson but I think there's bad blood between Riley and Phil.
