Miles offering unpleasant welcome to newcomers

To stage a conference championship game, the NCAA requires a league to have two divisions of six or more schools that play round-robin within their division. [Larry Templeton, chairman of the SEC transition committee] said the SEC had some internal conversations about trying to change the rule, "but I don't know if we're to a position where the conference would produce that legislation." As for Texas A&M and Missouri joining the SEC: "I would say strap it up," Miles said. "They're going to really not enjoy their welcoming to this conference."

Les is correct about them needing to man up, but being a little more neighborly about it would've been nice.
Something like "Welcome, we're glad to have you guys coming in cuz we needed more fresh meat, the old stuff was getting stale on us." Something nice like that.

Nope. Their stupidity actually only comes from their weirdness. Take that away and they are actually pretty smart. That weirdness takes them all the way down the scale.
