08:34 AM ET 05.09 | News of Mattias Ohlund's retirement, which spread Tuesday from Sweden, may be exaggerated. What the former Canucks defenceman told the Swedish newspaper Expressen is he's not sure surgery he had 10 weeks ago will be successful and that he has months of rehab still ahead of him before any decision on his hockey future can be made. "I'm not certain I can come back and play hockey at all," he told Expressen North American correspondent Gunnar Nordstrom. "It will take a long time. We're talking at least a further four months in addition to the 10 weeks I've been rehabbing since the operation. Doctors can't guarantee [rehab will be successful], but my objective is to come back and play again."

Which would require the purchase of a..............shubbery!

Since this is the only thread I can access, I will use it to say congrats to the Devils. They played a great series and the conference finals should be fun.

Tough loss Phantom. Congrats to Nard Dog, We're standing on very thin ice too right now. I hope the next series will feature the same exciting hockey we've been getting so far, no matter who their opponent is.

Not so sure. The way NYRs are playing, that series could go either way. Never count out the underdog.

Thanks, Slappy. Your team is at least still in it with a chance. The way that series has gone, this could be decided in MSG at game 7.
