08:01 AM ET 05.11 | What Darrelle Revis lacked in conversation about his contract, he more than made up for when talking about his calling Bill Belichick a "jerk" during a television appearance. "I feel like people let him slide when he says his smart remarks and certain things and he says comments about us like he never coached here, which he did, and that's how I felt," Revis said. "They told me to sum it up and I gave one word. He can take it however he wants, he can say whatever he wants to say back and even if he says something back I'm not going to get into jarring with him." ... Revis was reminded about Antonio Cromartie [insulting Tom Brady] two years ago and how that could be considered disrespectful, too. Revis, though, stood by Cromartie.

Worry less about Little Bill and more about making your team better, Bro.

Young and brash. Spending a bit of time under the tutelage of Rex. Just has to back it up on the field; only place it really matters.

You should be a guest speaker at the rookie symposium.

No problem. J-E-S-T-S will go 0-2 against the Pats AGAIN!!!

some players just have to get in the last word.....its an "I" thing....

He's just a loud mouth punk...........thats why he fits the Jets since they suck.

Revis shoild save some of the yapping for the Bills. Jets could easily be looking up at them in the standings too this year.

Funny all the Jet haters around here . You all know you don't want no part of Revis Island .

The JETS SUCK!!

"He stuck by his mantra from 2010 that players should be compensated for how they perform on the field"

Just how much money dies he think most Jets players should give back ? They could have some guys playing for minimum wage.

May 11, 2012  08:45 AM ET

I thought only receivers were outspoken SOB's, guess I was wrong!

I am not a Belichick fan but that doesn't mean I can't see his greatness. Sure he comes off like a Jerk but thats because his life begins and ends with football. He doesn't get out much to perfect his people skills so I guess I can cut him some slack.

Yeah but it should be our minimum, not league minimum.

Revis is one of the few guys that backs up his talk.

I did like the NFL Network profile on him for the "A Football Life" series.

Talk about letting things get personal. Revis also said the Belichicks comments were made without anything said from the Jets side. Are you serious? All the Jets do is bash every single other team and show absolutely no respect to any opponent. Dude is living in a fantasy land.

Like Sanchez, he's another guy who had his best season as a rookie, and hasn't played up to that level since.
