White Sox draw ire of Sale's agent

08:18 AM ET 05.11 | Agent BB Abbott said Thursday he was worried about the manner in which the White Sox have handled client Chris Sale recently. "In short, yes I am extremely concerned about the way the White Sox have approached this entire situation with Chris and his future," Sale's agent Abbott wrote late Wednesday night in an email. "It is his future, isn't it?" ... Sale had an MRI on Thursday to help determine if his left elbow tenderness is a more serious problem. When the results are revealed, the club must address his role on the staff. Presumably Sale, and some in the hierarchy, believe he should be returned to the rotation while others think he should be in the bullpen.

Anyone catch his arm angle in that pic? It looks like he's throwing a fastpitch softball.

Hey Sale, do what is asked of you and what is best for the team and shut up about it.. starting to sound like he belongs on the Red Sox.

Technically his agent is the one complaining.

Wha wha what?

The Cubbies would just keep starting Sale until his arm fell off but his agent wouldn't object because Theo would sign him to another contract, like he did Wood.

Sale Away!!!

May 13, 2012  09:11 AM ET

So let me get this straight; The ChiSox moved Sale out of the rotation because of concerns over his elbow, which would impact his career and his long term value. The agent, who stands to make much more money if Sale has a lengthy career even if its out of the bullpen than if this kid blows out his elbow as a starter and the agent is complaining about it?

Someone needs to give this guy the Wonderlich test, I think you might see a new score.

Make that last line a new low score.
