"I knew I had to change some things in my life. I think I've matured. I hope I have matured. But the smile is still there and it's not going away." ... [Britt] has had an incident-free offseason after he had seven involving police in his first two NFL seasons. That earned him a trip to New York to see NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. ... Those who know Britt say he made a concerted effort to change, partly by changing things around him. The trips back home to New Jersey, where he often found trouble, are now few and far between.
