Semi temporary hijack Guido. I was in Austin yesterday for a session at TEA. Had lunch at Scholz's out in the garden. Applewhite and Diaz were having lunch at the next table with a couple of other guys. (And the place was more packed than usual with the state track meet crowd.) Overheard the conversation. Applewhite was gigging Diaz a little saying the expectations were higher on the defense which also brings more pressure. I got the impression he was being a little coy about the offense.

There seems to be a quiet confidence building on that side. If they can keep the players outa the pizza joints at 1:00am, I think it could be a surprising season for most.
