Will Pistons trade Murray?

So, how long until guard Flip Murray gets traded? He's too good to be watching games in street clothes -- he can score the ball -- but it's hard to see how he'll get time going forward with the Pistons. Seems like someone (preferably in the Western Conference) would deal a second-round pick or two to acquire him.

What a great problem to have.

detroit needs to hang on to him for the playoffs.

Hou. could give 2 or 3 pgs for him

if he was that good he'd be playing

I was wondering what Dumars was thinking when he signed Murray. Somehow, I was expecting that the Pistons wouldn't be using him as much as they previously thought.

Dumars is forcing Flip Sanders to play his young guys which is genius. Rodney Stucky and Aaron Afflalo are studs and Jarvis Hays is playing solid if we can move Flip Murray for some picks that would be gravy

Nice guy to have should one of your backcourt become injured.

I would hold on to him for the playoffs. The guy is a fearless scorer. Stucky and Afflalo are the future, but they aren;t playoff tested yet.

Murray should never have been traded from Cleveland. But I guess if you've got 6 guards on your roster, something has to give. It should have been someone else however.

He's insurance if Rip Hamilton goes down. As kyle_28 stated, "they need him for the playoffs."

it's a shame that Murray was traded from SEA, but obviously there was no hope of him staying in the lineup once Allen came back. He's best suited as a starter of a sixth man who gets solid minutes. If not, his production falls off tremendously as witnessed by his time in SEA as a bench player.

He'll contribute somewhere, and he'll be best suited to return to the Western Conference.

Aaron Afflalo has the most "well rounded" game of any Piston rookie since Joe D himself. The Pistons insistence to play Stucky at both guard spots could actually hurt Afflalo's development as a backup to Rip.

He was a BIG part of the Pistons win in Boston, then got NO time in the Pistons loss at home.

There is absolutely NO time for Flip. I agree with the other poster that said "if we can move Flip Murray for some picks that would be gravy"....it would. Definitely to the Western Conference, but he's to good a player to be INACTIVE for games at a time. Trade him NOW.

I think Flip would be great in Denver. It would be a good match for his style of play.

I say we trade the other FLIP! Bring back Larry Brown so we play our bench effectively & win another championship.
