08:04 AM ET 05.14 | On a nasty day in Cincinnati, Marvin Lewis still saw signs for optimism. [Lewis] wrapped up a decade of rookie minicamps Sunday impressed with the NFL speed and size that were displayed in the five practices at Paul Brown Stadium. After the final workout in a steady rain he praised the work of a deep field of receivers and said that third-rounder Mohamed Sanu is going to push to start in his first year out of Rutgers and indicated fifth-rounder Marvin Jones is going to be busy. "I thought Sanu was everything we expected him to be. I think he's going to be able to come in here and play right away as a rookie and he's going to push to start, play time," Lewis said.

Cincy's had their issues but I still think Lewis is a good coach and knows his players. I think Palmer would still be there if Marv had any say in it but the Ginger played well as a rookie.
I just think it's funny how all these talented rookies are going to challenge the vets when they've only been practicing with other rookies. Tell me something after the regular camps start.

Don't think so! Ravens swept them last year and Steelers are still pretty darn good.

Ok then, you should know the Bengals track record. They fall apart the year after they had a successful season.

He's right. This isn't a division that you win just be being good. They have to want it more than Baltimore and Pittsburgh, and that's a tall order.

They'll have to take advantage of Suggs being down while they can. His absence may not be enough though.

Bengals got a steal in Marvin Jones. Excellent receiver with good work ethic. Won't be a diva.

Off season workouts don't mean squat. Everyone looks good running around in underwear and helmets.
