Hill risks NBA discipline with 'The world knows' line

08:08 AM ET 05.14 | For a number of reasons, the Heat ran away from the Pacers Sunday, though George Hill didn't like how things had added up. After the game, [Hill] was checking out the final score sheet, so I asked him if anything jumped out at him that would explain this loss. "No comment," he said. Then he commented. "Y'all know," he said, clearly referring to the 38-28 free-throw disparity. "We know. Everybody knows. The world knows. But sometimes it's better left unsaid." Mr. Hill, Mr. Stern on line 1. ... Did it hurt the Pacers to have so many players in early foul trouble? Obviously. Deal with it. Losers whine. And then they go home for the summer.

Really 10 free-throws...Lets be real here Indy. That is not a huge disparity especially when you count the fact that the last 4 ft's were intentional fouls.

It was a physical game for the Pacers. You're going to have officiating discrepencies all the time. Play through the adversity and make adjustments.

Hill is 100% right. I was so disgusted with the onesided officiating that after Hill picked up his 5th foul with almost a half to play, I turned the TV off. If this is the kinda NBA playoff games Stern want the nation to view, its sad and pathetic. I'm beginning to believe that maybe Sterns doesn't believes Miami can with a title without all of this help from the refs. Heat fans are you without integrity? Can you sit there and accept this as right? How would you feel if the refs did this to the Heat? I as a fan simply will not look the other way and say this is acceptable. I will call it as I see it and I believe all the Pacers should speak out about this time after time if this kind of officiating continues. It serves no purpose for the fans who want to see a legit officiated game. This is disgraceful and I'm sick of it. I truly feel sorry for the Pacer Nation after that game, it was horrifically offficiated. The Pacers were beating them in every aspect of competition yesterday and to get robbed like that is a joke. You people say only a 10 ft disparity are delusional. The type of foul, the time the fouls, how many fouls and who the fouls are called on all matters and don't kid yourselves. It has a adverse effect on the outcome of the game. Wade always kick people on shots and layups....all any reasonable person (including the refs) need to do is just look closely at Wade in any game including the next and then tell us what you think.

You think nba wants to see pacers vs spurs? Get real. This kind of thing goes on every year. Its just everyone always says suck it up. Unless of course if its your team. I still remember that Kings/lakers grand larceny of the 90s. Or even the 2006 finals. Stren no matter how hard your cronies try you'll never get all those dwade phantom fouls off youtube. Jerks.

You are right. By the way, there are no Heat fans outside of Miami, just band wagoners. The NBA is and has been fixed for years. If you remember, the knock on MJ his first 7 seasons was that he wasn't a winner, he was just a great scorer but he wasn't clutch like Bird and Magic. Not too many people remember that; but after he won, he led the NBA to a new era of prosperity. Lebron will "get" his title and the NBA will do whatever it takes to make sure of it. See the second quarter of game 1 (Knicks vs Heat) 5 straight offensive fouls against the Knicks and their one point lead turned into a 30 point deficit in minutes!!!

I just think that superstars are always going to get calls compared to everyone else in the NBA. Now I am not defending this practice, but its been going on since the Jordan days.

The foul disparity doesn't bother me and the Heat don't scare me. They were exposed for most of the game last night. Won't take the win away from them, but the Pacers are the better team and they will make adjustments and win G2.

It's not just the FT disparity, the ridiculous fouls called early in the game to get the Pacers into foul trouble were a significant deterrent to them playing aggressive defense. FTs don't tell the entire story but that's how Heat apologists and the NBA will spin it, that 10 FTs isn't a lot and the Heat got those because they're more aggressive going to the basket but Hill's right "Y'all know. We know. Everybody knows. The world knows."

1. 10 Free Throws more, Not that big of a difference 2. Who really wants to see the Pacers in the ECF? (unless you hate Miami or you are a Celtics fan. Personally I want to see some competition for a Mia vs Bos matchup, and Stern does too!). 3. There are 6 more possible games in the series, you always expect the home team to win. 4. They have a great chance of taking the series bc Bosh should be out the rest of the series with that abdominal pull unless they dope him up and ice him down but he will still play like frankenstein. 5. Last but not least every team has their floppers, which makes the game even more cheesy :(

You won't beat the Heatles as long as the refs keep bowing to Queens LeBronna and Dwanna Wade... The biggest cry babies ever to play the game. However, Hill, Granger and George don't show up the Heatles win going away 4-0!
