08:27 AM ET 05.14 | The time he knew would come is almost here for Brad Stuart. One name that has been linked to the San Jose Sharks in recent months is that of [Stuart], who just completed a four-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings and is set to hit the open market on July 1. Stuart, who began his career in San Jose, has made it known he would like to be closer to his wife and three kids, who still reside in the Bay Area. For now, Stuart is taking time to ponder his next move. He could become an unrestricted free agent, but that doesn't mean the Red Wings don't want to re-sign him before then. ... Making a play for Stuart, who might even take a "hometown discount," makes sense for the Sharks.

What do you mean? This is a major story! A hockey player isn't sure if he wants to play on the Wings?!? Why that's unheard of!

I suoppose then, it's up to us to make them more interesting.
Of course, it could have the wrong result, these guys see a lot of posts and think we care about which beer Kane is drinking on the red line with an angry Marty Brodeur while he decides if he wants to play for The Wings

Whaaaat? They don't want to give up the sleazy Bay Area for my beautiful Dee-troit? I'm deeply wounded! Good bye, Stuart! Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out! We'd rather have Weber or Suter anyway!

Even though the Kings dominated the ugly Coyotes, they showed some rust after the long wait. The snipers were not as accurate and Quick was shaky to say the least. I expect that to change.

Along with losing his stick shortly before that on a slow-roller to his crease. He looked like he didn't take warmups. But, he quickly warmed up.
Another big time, well timed goal by Brown. Man is that guy bringing it in this tourney.
