Kane wearing out his welcome in Chicago?

08:28 AM ET 05.14 | Some of the allegations attached to Patrick Kane, only few weeks removed from his NHL season, are certainly disturbing. Thus far, there's no way to know if either of those incidents occurred because the Hawks denied access to Kane, and other efforts to reach him were unsuccessful. Moreover, anonymous sources on a website can't be assumed to be reliable. Still, at best, the early-May behavior was boorish and should be an embarrassment to Kane, whose image has begun to transform from that of an NHL superstar to one of a punch line. ... The question begins to be raised, is Kane wearing out his welcome with the organization? When (if?) he does grow up or instead fritters away his remarkable talent in a haze of frat parties, will it be in a Hawks uniform?

But won't stop media from reporting them....what sactimonious codswallup
And by the way, he's been in the league for a few years now, and he's only what, 24? generally an age when stupidity of this type runs rampant. Not excusing, just explaining

When did the Chicago Tribune turn into the National Enquirer? I wouldn't believe anonymous internet sources if they said the sky was blue. Besides he obviously wasn't arrested or they'd have that in there, so what's the big deal?

What did Kane do now? Assault Peggy?

I do not concur. I bet you anything the punk wakes up every morning and stands in front of one of those mirrors that make you look taller and bigger than you really are, wearing nothing but that cape he wore at the All Start game to remind himself how great he is.

No. There's no changing the spots on this pussycat. He is what he is .... and shall always be.

I'd like to see the punk in the back seat of the cab with that cabbie that drove Tim Thomas.

I agree Kane is young and stupid, but he's not being paid millions to be a party boy. He's being paid to be a world class athlete. And right now he is pissing everything away.

I'm sure the Hawks would like to see a change, that is if "Kane's able."

Kane isn't 'able.' He doesn't give change to anybody.

He's just being himself .... as usual. And ... he's extra pissed now because he can get a cab ride anywhere.
