08:04 AM ET 05.14 | Philadelphia -- with A.J. Feeley, Jeff Garcia and Michael Vick, thanks to Andy Reid -- has a history of molding quarterbacks. [Reid and his offensive assistant coaches] take quarterbacks that nobody else wants and turn them into winners. Early on, it was Reid, offensive coordinator Rod Dowhower and quarterbacks coach Pat Shurmur. Then it was Reid, offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and Shurmur. Now, it's Reid, Mornhinweg and QBs coach Doug Pederson. Whoever the coaches, this is where quarterbacks come to improve. And that's why Nick Foles is excited about what awaits. ... Foles is Reid's latest project. He admittedly didn't need a quarterback in the third round of the draft but selected Foles simply because he likes the way he throws the football.

QB Project aka crap shoot.

Just look what they did with VY. I like that they have Doug Pederson onboard. He was a solid backup in his playing days.

Well then they better improve the O-line.

Reid "selected Foles simply because he likes the way he throws the football." Just like Kyle Boller threw a great ball. What could go wrong?

If I'm not mistaken, I think the Bills picked him up. Eagles must didn't see much trade bait potential in him. They can sell ice to an eskimo.

Yeah, the VY part was meant to be in sarcasm font but it didn't show.

I do think Pederson has something to offer to young QBs and Mornhinweg is no slouch OC.

You wasted a 3rd rd pick? Stupid

And that counts for what? nothing in my opinion. Superbowls are all that matter.

And I guess Marino has no place in the HoF either...

"Andy Reid has a history of molding quarterbacks."

The question is" WHO WANTS A MOLDY QUARTERBACK?"

TOTAL BS, ALL OF IT.
The next QB developed by the Eagles will be the first one since McNabb, and he did not develop, he regressed in his prime years there.

Kolb? could not start in Philly and is not much to look at in Arizona.

Kafka? really, 2009 draft and you still do not trust him?

Andy Hall 2004 draft. Who? That is all the QBs drafted and developed by Andy and the Eagles in the last decade plus.

Because the Eagles and Andy have been unable to develop ANY QB in the last ten years, they had to sign Vick as a UFA. They did not developed Vick, he rehabbed himself. Jeesh! He is no better now than he was in his hey day in Atlanta.

You're not getting my point...the article says that Reid takes QB's and makes them winners and I said they haven't won anything...so how can they say he makes them winners?? Comparing that to Marino is idiotic.

Not when you state that Superbowls are all that matter.
