08:20 AM ET 05.16 | Bill O'Brien, in the midst of an 18-stop caravan that will take Penn State coaches through Pennsylvania, Ohio and the mid-Atlantic region, pulled in to Pittsburgh earlier this week. During a 25-minute presentation, O'Brien outlined his vision for the future of the Penn State football program. He started by acknowledging the legacy left by the late Joe Paterno, and told the crowd, "I'm not here to be Joe Paterno. I have a lot of respect for what he did, but I also believe very much in what we're going to do football-wise and different things that we've changed," he said. "It's not hard to respect the past and move forward; it really isn't."

The future is all you have at PSU. The past is very cloudy.

Well, if they frack Northern PA into being uninhabitable, Happy Valley may have bigger problems than anything they've faced up to this point or are facing, now.

I for one am curious to see what this new guy can do at Penn State after 45 years of Paterno.

Where are our FN PSU pals?

Look ahead and don't focus on what's behind. It's not the first time a PSU coach has said that.

Nooooooo, let's live in the the child molesting past.
