Parros may tangle with the open market

08:36 AM ET 05.17 | Will the 'stache be back? It takes two to tango in a contract negotiation and it appears that the Ducks have yet to offer their hand to popular enforcer George Parros. Parros' agent, George Bazos, told the Register on Wednesday that he has not heard from the club regarding a desire to extend the contract of the pending unrestricted free agent right wing. "We're just waiting on a phone call," Bazos said. "Normally when you think about re-signing any free agent, it's encumbent of the team to reach out. I don't know when they'll reach out, if at all." Parros, 32, made $875,000 in an injury-marred season in which he appeared in only 46 games and was often a healthy scratch at the end.
