What's wrong with Teixeira?

09:51 AM ET 05.19 | The Yankees still haven't figured out how to get Mark Teixeira better. They're hoping at least one game off will help clear up the severely inflamed bronchial airways that have bothered him all season. Teixeira was held out of last night's 4-0 victory over the Reds after suffering another coughing fit during the sixth inning of Thursday's loss in Toronto. After Teixeira's numerous visits to doctors who prescribed various medications that haven't led to any improvement, manager Joe Girardi said he's "a little bit" concerned. "This is something you would expect would have went away now," Girardi said. "They've tried different ideas that haven't worked. I'd love to see it go away because it can't be a comfortable day for him." Teixeira is hitting just .228 and has been worse with runners in scoring position (.205, 9-for-44).

I'll still take that dudes glove in my lineup everyday no matter what he's batting. Just drop him down in the lineup if he continues with plate issues and put **** back on steriods (haha).

The good news is that his contract expires before A-Rod
The bad news is that his contract expires in 2016.

INFECTIONS, would nock you any gram of energy in your body and mind, its tough to play 162 games every season, but its even worse to play half wrecked in a low grade in health, best thing to do?? send him to the hospital untill the doctors clean him out from any tough infection. a walking neumonia its more likely which nobody knows that they being sick untill they hit the ground!!

a injuried player can't produce better when its healthy, and when they are sick its even very difficult to drive any runs, can' swing with great concentration, their mind goes one way their arms going to a different direction!!!
