Coyotes loss could be last in Phoenix

09:34 AM ET 05.20 | The Phoenix Coyotes could play their last game of the season Sunday afternoon. It could also be their last game as the Phoenix Coyotes. While talks continue on a deal to have a group fronted by former San Jose Sharks executive Greg Jamison buy the team from the NHL, which bought the club out of bankruptcy three years ago, the deal still isn't done. Until the members of Jamison's group put pen to cheque and close the deal, there is going to be justifiable healthy skepticism about the Coyotes' future in Glendale, Ariz.

From the photo it looks like better than a 15% chance of relocation.

Is this a picture of a happy team or a Geico Commercial?

More people in Arizona care about the Geico gecko than the coyotes...

Geico is pronounced "que-bec"

Kansas City would be a nice fit. They have a new arena and alot of fan interest.

To have a last loss in Phoenix, it would mean a win today in L.A. Nyuk. Nyet, Nine.

That spots being held for the Isles in '15 :-)

And tell the folks in Canada, it's CHECK!!!

I guess the only traditional hockey markets that are left to relocate to are Quebec City and Hamilton.

So, Greg Jamison doesn't have any buck, no more NHL in Glendale, and they don't deserve AHL or WCHL... Maybe the only solution is to have a woman ringette team at Jobing.com arena for next year...

Wait, I have a better idea, they should demolish the arena and create 3200 parking spots for the Cardinals, so they won't sue the city for 67M$.

No wait, a much better idea, they should close the city.

Anyway, RIP Yotes.

PS: Only Ekman-Larsson, Yandle, and maybe Vermette should come to Qu??bec. The other players doesn't deserve to play in the NHL.

I will state till I'm blue in the face that Phoenix will end up in either Seattle or Las Vegas. Quebec City is getting an expansion franchise along with Southern Ontario for 4-8 team divisions. Jersey will end up in KC before the Isles are allowed to move (funny that they will have gone full circle as they started out as the Kansas City Scouts)The Isles will survive in Brooklyn as they lease year to year while trying to get a new rink in Long Island (yes I know Brooklyn is on Long Island) and if not well there is Milwaukee & Cleveland as possible landing sites
