09:44 AM ET 05.20 | The Los Angeles Lakers trudged off the Staples Center floor late Saturday, a single loss now separating them from season's end, another fourth-quarter collapse once again causing their undoing. They didn't show much poise in the locker room, either, with Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum pointing blame at others for allowing the Oklahoma City Thunder to steal their second victory in three games. Bryant left no question which teammate deserved the most blame for the 103-100 loss in Game 4. Pau Gasol. Bryant faulted Gasol for not playing aggressive enough. It was also Gasol's turnover that led to Kevin Durant making the winning 3-pointer with 13.7 seconds left. "Pau's got to be more assertive," Bryant said. "He's the guy they're leaving [open]. When he's catching the ball, he's looking to pass. He's got to be aggressive. He's got to shoot the ball or drive the ball to the basket. He will be next game."

NEVER is Kobe's fault

May 20, 2012  09:56 AM ET

they lost game 2 because of Kobe's turnovers
they lost game 4 because of Gasol's turnover and unproductive game
They need to be more aggressive and stop those lazy pass

also Bynum only played 3 quarter-basketball last night, he needs to dominate in game 5, 6, and 7

I find it hysterical that Bynum, and his injury history and lack of effort, can blame ANYONE for a loss.

Biggest whiners?

Wade and MeBron or Bynum and Bryant?

Bryant and Bynum have had the lead for a long time, but Dirty D-Wade and The Court Jester are gaining fast.

Not when you didn't take a shot in the 4th quarter, as Gasol did!!!

I think you mean Game 5... Let's take it one step at a time...

NICE! I went to bed with 7 minutes left and the Lakers were up by 10....OKC did it again!!!! Way to go! Good to see. Out with the old, in with the new

and Kobe....just **** and play. Have you ever seen Larry Bird, Hakeem, Tim Duncan or Isiah Thomas blame a teammate for a loss? They don't because they are good teammates and don't throw their guys under the bus like you.

Definitely. At this point, I'd say "6 and 7" are a wee ambitious and optimistic.

QUOTE(#12):

Anyone with common sense could see the Lakers' troubles some time ago, with Coach Brown not being able to control the team, Bynum and Kobe showing disrespect, and Gasol basically giving up. The Miami Heat have a similar problem, and that's why they will not contend this year as well.

Here's the thing...Phil Jackson is figuratively dead (PBUH). These guys can either learn to play for another coach and buy in, or they can lament Phil's passing and become the 2000's Bulls, going through a dozen Tim Floyds, Bill Cartwrights and Del ****.

To paraphrase Pitino "Phil Jackson isnt walking through that door". So play with and for who you've got or be happy with five games over .500 and a first/second round thrashing year after year.

The Lakers looked unsure of themselves in the fourth quarter, they have to dig deep & Stop pointing fingers at each other, the System belongs to Da Jets of The NFL!!!!

Whoa...Del N-eg-ro is asterisked out? It's the guys name...really? You can troll and flame to your heart's content, but N-eg-ro is blotted out?
