The Brewers are showing strong interest in signing free-agent centerfielder Mike Cameron. Brewers general manager Doug Melvin did not return messages Wednesday evening seeking comment about his pursuit of Cameron. But a baseball source familiar with the situation said Milwaukee was engaged in "serious" talks with Cameron's agent, Mike Nicotera, including discussion of a multi-year deal.

He would be a Great addition to the Brewers lineup. This would also allow
Hall to move back to 3B, and let Braun try LF. I doubt if the Brewres will spend the money, especially after giving Gagne $10 million.

i heard they would dump hall as part of this move, so I don't know if I like the brewers attempt at going from a youth movement to multiple 36 year old journeymen in the starting lineup.

What is the Brewers' plan, exactly? The should have dominated their division last year. Where does Braun play? Where will Hall play? Who is in the rotation? $10 m. for Gagne? Who's in charge? They seem quite disoriented.

Its the Brew Crew, management is fitting the bill by being drunk half the time.

One time he was the best home run-robbing center fielder (even better than Andruw Jones). I'm speaking, of course, in the 1997-1999 years.

Another CFer? I guess like dougsomers said, move Hall to 3b and Braun to LF.

don't really want him for the multi millions it'll take to sign him. he has a terrible obp and is hurt half the time... he is a winner though so i can live with him as a veteran influence on the younger guys.
