08:07 AM ET 05.22 | Mike Shanahan may not yet be in midseason form on the practice field, as he was injured Monday in a collision with two players. The hit left the coach "a little woozy," according to a team spokesman. ... As the Redskins neared the end of their first practice session of the offseason, the team began 7-on-7 drills. Quarterback Robert Griffin III unleashed a long pass intended for receiver Pierre Gar??on near the 50-yard line of their indoor practice facility, and both the wideout and cornerback Brandyn Thompson went up for the ball. Shanahan was standing with his back to the play, watching other drills. Gar??on and Thompson both collided with the coach as they tumbled to the ground, and Shanahan lay motionless on the field for several minutes.

He should sue the league like the retired players are for not being aware of the hazards of coaching.

And it's just gonna get tougher as the season progresses.

Sounds like a hit from the weak side.

Let me guess - his helmet came off because he didn't fasten his chin strap, right?

Still love that picture, but these are the new Redskins. How about maybe a picture of Shanney out in, say, a "Hail" storm?

First of all the trainers ran over to RG to see if he was all right and to be sure he did not hurt his arm on the throw. RG said he was fine and pointed over to the HC laying on the ground, you might want to check him though.

And now you know.

Wow... Knock out the QB and the coach on one play...Where was the O line?
