08:10 AM ET 05.22 | With only 36 tackles and four sacks in 2011, Ndamukong Suh, statistically, suffered a significant setback in his second season. It's important to recognize, the impact of a defensive tackle is not always apparent in the statistics. ... Whether looking at the numbers or the film, Suh wants to get back on track in 2012. "It's a very important year, personally, because every year I want to try to outdo the previous year," Suh said. "My rookie season I had a good year. Last year, indifferent year. This year I have an opportunity to have an outstanding year, but, then again, it really doesn't matter because it's a team game and I want to win. That's all I want to do."

Great! beaten by spam. anyway..less fines and suspensions would be a good first step for Suh.

I was just reading his bio. Suh stands 6'4, his father is only 5'8, but his grandfather was 7'3. Does this make any genealogical sense?

Looks like he split the difference...

"and I don't care who I have to step on to make it happen."

"Personal foul... Number 90 of the defense..... 15 yard penalty.... First down!"

Perhaps he stopped going all-out last year because he was afraid of the Wrath of Goodell. This is a guy, like James Harrison, who was clearly on Jolly Roger's watch list, and he wasn't going to get away with hard hits, even legal ones.

A kinder, gentler, more gingerly NFL, right?

A few less commercials and WWE moves at the end of the play and you should do fine, #90.

Looks like dad was assessed a penalty lap in the gene pool.

Averages out about right...

The moms' heights would play a role, too.

In general, the gene pool is pretty shallow. It also needs chlorine and lifeguards.

His father is only 5'8", but he makes $5,241 a month just working on his laptop!

I don't think I'd risk Grandpa Suh's wrath by messing with Grandma.
