08:16 AM ET 05.22 | Adam Morrison, participating among a mostly anonymous group of free agents at a Nets' minicamp this week, could forever be linked to Michael Jordan, bound by their shortcomings in follow-up acts -- Jordan as an exec, Morrison as an NBA player. "I guess the toughest thing is, I guess, the athletic ability," Morrison said when asked why he's had so much trouble sticking with a team in the NBA. "And I understand I'm never going to shake being a 'bust' or being a failure in some people's eyes. I've experienced a lot of highs in basketball so I guess you could call it a hardship but it's really not. I get to play basketball for money. That's pretty good."

He's a 2 time NBA champion.... what team wouldn't want him???? LOL!!!! But seriously if he can contribute, he will be picked up....

Michael Jordan is the worst evaluator of talent ever. Say what you want about Isaiah Thomas, but he has an eye for ballers.

It just goes to show that simply saying that you have a ring......really don't mean squat.

I mean......it ain't like he did anything to help win those rings......unless cheering from the bench counts......

Eddie Curry is "trying".

Eating as much as he can at the buffet does not constitute as "trying."

Speaking of Buffet. Eddy Curry is still in street clothes on the Heat bench. What the hell did Riley sign him for? Any GM will be fired for such a move.... anyways I hope Indiana comes through tonite to take care of biz against the Heat...

no-eddy caused his own misfortunes....morrison just wasn't good enough- big difference

Not really.

One causes his misfortunes and 'tries' to overcome his additions.....making slow progress.

The other is obviously not good enough but 'tries' to hang on, wasting other peoples' time because he can't be what he's not.....a halfway decent athlete.

It the heart of the matter, it's the same thing. They both try to stick in the league.....and they both will likely fail.

I got no hate for either of them......but I still call it as I see it.
