08:31 AM ET 05.22 | The signing of Alexander Sulzer gives Darcy Regier and the Sabres eight defensemen under contract for next season. "It allows us to not only look at our defense, and we feel comfortable there, but it gives us an opportunity to look at the movement maybe up front as well," Regier said. The GM said the Sabres have or will tender qualifying offers to all their restricted free agents, including center Tyler Ennis. Pending RFA center Paul Szczechura has signed to play in the Czech Republic. The center position will continue to draw the attention of Regier. "The right center ice is a priority," he said. ... "It's tough to know what will be available, but if we can find the right centerman it would help."

I hear Ovie may be available

Whatever they do I hope they don't follow Burkie's strategy for finding a top line center. Craig's List, today's Horoscope, Match.com, and his American ouija board haven't worked out too well for To***to.

Between Burkie and Burkie Jr. (Nonis) I don't think the sanwiches are around long enough Spiny.

Maybe Argos looks at them before he delivers them though.

The Pens already have two backup goalies. They don't need a third.

I think both the GM and Coach have been there to long. The Sabres need a lot more than just one center man to help in scoring.

No. Pens need a consistent starting goalie who will do well with a good D in front of him and the Sabres need a center. Win-Win.
