08:10 AM ET 05.24 | Pau Gasol's on-court obligations to the Lakers this season are complete, which understandably turns his attention to his future in Los Angeles. [On Wednesday, Gasol] didn't seem to be in any rush to leave the Lakers' practice facility, knowing this could be his last visit there. "It's still very much possible that this is one of my last days," Gasol said. ... "It's not sentimental, but it does cross your mind that there could be a change." Gasol still hopes to stay with the Lakers next season. He has two years and $38.2 million left on his contract but didn't discuss his future much with Kupchak in their meeting. "I wish I could have clarification right now," Gasol said. "They can't give it to me."

The Lakers are history.

Unless they cut Kobe and his $30million salary, it doesn't matter what they do, they can't afford to bring in anyone else but scrubs.

Not only does Kobe hog the ball, he's hogging the money too.

pau for amare ?

Exactly my thought. That's one trade both Melo and Kobe will approve and I think fans of both teams will be cool with it as well. I'm all for it!

Odom quit on the Dallas simply because he missed LA. If he ends up in NY why would things be any different? He'll quit on the Knicks just like he quit on the Mavs.

QUOTE(#11):

Dallas was a bad fit for him. Of course he didn't want to be there. Cuban blew it. Lay blame where it belongs.

So you place no blame on Odom for just quitting on the Mavs? Interesting. How do you blame Cuban for Lamar's bad attitude this year?

Hopefully he gets out of LA. I'm sure he's had enough of that puke Kobe Bryant. Shaq watched it all transpire from afar, thinking all the while, "see what I mean?"

Gasol played better with Odom than Bynum. If he is gone, I'll miss seeing him in a Laker uniform and Bynum will still be the Randy Moss of the NBA, playing whenever he feels like it.

It's sad to see how Lakers have made Gasol a scape goat even though he won championships for them. I don't know another man that will let other men disrespect him like that... yikes!

Gasol & Bynum for Brook Lopez and Deron...

QUOTE(#16):

These players are human. I don't know if its all one sided. Perhaps Odom quit and perhaps he didn't. I don't know, and the truth is you don't either. I can say without reservation that it appeared clear that Dallas had no idea what to do with the guy after they got him. He always looked out of place. Like I said. It was just a bad fit.

What a joke. If you watched him play at all you would either know he quit or you are an idiot. He literally left in the middle of the season! Of course they didn't know what to do with him. What do you do with a grown man being paid $9 million who acts like a 12-year-old?
