08:18 AM ET 05.24 | His suitors are lining up, and they're heavy hitters. The Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff has set its sights on one of the nation's top athletes, five-star recruit Derrick Henry from Yulee, Florida, despite the fact that Henry has been committed to Georgia since last July. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound star received a visit from Alabama running backs coach Burton Burns earlier this week and told BamaOnline that his communication with the Tide coaching staff has stepped up in recent weeks. "There's nothing not to like about Alabama, really," Henry told BamaOnline. ... "Being recruited by Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt- he's so smooth. All their players go in the first round and they finish off their careers at Alabama on the right note. That means a lot to me."

Betcha all the B1G coaches are muttering to themselves "Lord Almighty, PLEASE do not let Saban come back up here, having Urban Meyer poaching our commits is bad enough."

Hide the womens and childrens when SEC coaches are recruiting - nothing's safe.

He was a former MSU coach and they don't drop the deuce, only Hersey Squirts! In the south you need to look at University of Mississippi for Deuce or the Deuce leftovers.

That's odd. I would have thought this is the place they would talk about a deuce package

I guess we can tie in the Dallas bathwater to Ala and TSUN together in one post.

Come to TN. You'll be a 3 year starter then go to the league. At gumptown you'll have to sit for 2 years behind their 2 other 5 star backs they recruited the 2 years before you came.

For some reason, that pitch hasn't worked well for the past 5 years.

Hopefully the new facility will do the talking for them for years to come.

Well....... get your coach to tell him he can be a RB. Besides Saban will probably tell him he can be a RB then after he signs his LOI Saban will tell him he is now a DE or OLB.

Sounds good to me. From now on Bama shall be known as NFL Tide. Thanks for the suggestion.

Look at it this way. If he can't break the rotation at NFL Tide then what are his chances of breaking the rotation on an NFL team? If Saban (or any coach) thinks he should move to another position it is because he is not better than what they have 3 deep. He should listen to whoever his coach is.
