08:19 AM ET 05.24 | Michigan offensive coordinator Al Borges cautions fans against worrying about backup quarterback Devin Gardner's lackluster spring game. "He didn't play as well in the spring game as he played in the spring (practices). He and (third-stringer) Russ (Bellomy), we wanted to see in front of a crowd." ... [Borges said Friday] the "Deuce" package with both quarterbacks on the field at the same time will be expanded, because the coaches want to find a way to utilize Gardner's talents in the game alongside [Denard Robinson]. "You've got to figure out how you're going to do that and figure out how much of it you're going to do," Borges said. "It's tough. A big issue too is Russ. Somehow you have to prepare your third quarterback."
