Brodeur tweaks Rangers fans

08:25 AM ET 05.24 | From his lighthearted response to being punched by former teammate Mike Rupp, to the little matter of a 3-2 series lead, it seems Martin Brodeur is having a ball these days. As the Devils' Stanley Cup Finals dreams appeared to be crumbling down around him, [Brodeur] heard his named being chanted in mocking fashion as loud as it's ever been at Madison Square Garden. Somehow, Brodeur took that moment 17 seconds into the third period Wednesday night and found a way to enjoy it. "That was great," Brodeur said after the Devils' roller coaster 5-3 win over the Rangers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. "That's as loud as they've done it. If I come back for Game 7, I hope they are going to do better."

Torts after game 3. The Devils embelish plays and Brandon Prust is one of the most honest players.
Now either Harrold is hulk or Prust took one heck of a flop. THank you Henrik and Prust for flopping so us Devil fans (all 3 of us) can now have a retort for the Marty flops comments.

Did not see the game (last 9 minutes of 3rd period)
But I have nothing to say about Henrik flopping or not...and your opinion of him will colour your perspective (as will mine with Brodeur), but I find it hard to think Prust flopped. This statement is based on nothing but what I percieve about the guy as a player.
As far as the "kicked" goal....the guy on the radio read the rule verbatim, and it sounded like a good goal.
I was more concerned that Callahan didn't get called for the slash (I heard it on the radio driving home) Once again, something pretty obvious missed by four guys at ice level....can bettman explain the need for the 2nd Ref to us again?

It wasn't just a flop, it was an embarrassing flop. It was so bad they should have given him not only the 2 minutes for embelishing (which he got), he should have got a Razzy award for worse actor in a dramatic series.

I noticed Del Soto was really "mixing it up" last night. Every time there was some pushing, shoving or just plain stupid play he seemed to be in the middle of it.
