08:06 AM ET 05.25 | At his age, perhaps Brandon Knight didn't need much time off. With less than a month since the Pistons concluded the regular season with a victory over the 76ers, their point guard was at the practice facility for a 3-hour workout alongside backcourt mate Rodney Stuckey, who has been a regular pretty much since the off-season began. It shows Knight, 20, is eager to improve on his promising rookie season -- he was named to the NBA's first-team all-rookie squad this week. He averaged 12.8 points and 3.8 assists in playing a rookie-high 2,129 minutes. "It feels good, but I'm not just satisfied with that," Knight said Thursday. ... "It's an honor to be selected as first-team all-rookie, but that's the minimum."

Way to get to work B. Knight....you had a good year but Im expecting bigger and better next season. The issue is those people not named Greg Monroe that you are playing with. Joe D you have some serious work to do. Hopefully we dont goof this daft pick up to start.....hmmm wonder if there is a market for Stuckey?

QUOTE(#1):

Good for himProblem is the make up of that team is extremely flawed

It works in his favor as diamond in the rough. It's about getting paid.

Good for you. Shoot for the 'Most improved Player of the year" next season, that would be a good goal to have.

I have wondered why Joe D has stuck with basically the same roster for the last few years.....I used to defend joe D, but he needs to be gone- based on the lack of change/upgrading he has failed to give you guys the last couple years (IMO)

Your opinion would be correct. We have gotten lucky the past two drafts as players have fallen to us. I stick up for Joe D only cause he has been apart of the Bad Boys and our 2004 ship team but he is on a short leash in my eyes.

Should have BEEN on a short leash...sure he put together a good overall team in 2004 but that Finals was more a product of the Lakers' dysfunction (not to take anything away from ur boys). I grew up a DIE HARD Bad Boys fan but Joe D has really disappointed me as a GM the last almost decade...cant live off 1 chip forever, there has been no rebuilding efforts...to give Ben G. and Charlie V those huge contracts was lunacy

He needs to be. Guy makes millions, and his team sucks. Work harder.
