08:14 AM ET 05.25 | Playing better on the court has helped John Beilein recruit off of it for Michigan. The incoming 2012 class is rated No. 14 by ESPN.com. And on Thursday, the recruiting gurus from ESPN.com released their top 100 players in the 2013 class and three of the top 65 are Michigan commitments. No other school has more than two in the top 100. [Beilein] has a policy of not offering scholarships until June 15 at the end of a sophomore school year, but he doesn't hesitate after that. ... The website umhoops.com says the Wolverines are still recruiting for the 2013 class. It lists two of U-M's targets -- Hudson (N.J.) Catholic forward Reggie Cameron at No. 67 and Gill St. Bernard's (N.J.) guard Jaren Sina at No. 71 -- in the ESPN.com rankings.

The can be considered to be "on the rise" when they beat someone elite OOC-not sure ND and VT qualify for that.... And since they are expected to be ranked around 15th so it makes sense that they would have a 14th ranked class. "On the rise" implies that they have a top 5 or at least top 10 recruiting class.
