09:16 AM ET 05.26 | We're told Showtime has decided to drop former Miami and NFL star Warren Sapp from Inside the NFL. The network confirmed that to us. The other cast members - James Brown, Phil Simms, Cris Collinsworth - are expected back. NFL Network hasn't said whether it will renew Sapp's contract this summer. Sapp drew criticism for accusing Jeremy Shockey of telling the league about the Saints' bounty program - a claim that Shockey and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell have denied.

More likely to believe Shockey's denial than Goodell's.

Sapp has been all mouth. What worked on the field was only temporarily entertaining in the studio. The U may actually need to start educating their student athletes for careers beyond football.

He has his education from University of Miami to fall back on. Not to worry.

That photo says that he's just realized he should have attended those classes that gave him passing grades.

Aren't they the school with Donna Shalela(sp?) as their President? Nice when former politicians are running the school systems.

I liked him when he was younger. Now, his act is getting old.

No doubt he hit the books hard at Miami.

Never has there been a last name that so perfectly matched the personaility.

When the NFL Network drops him, then he has issues.

What a sap

Never enjoyed the four man lineup anyhow and was never a fan of Sap's "insight."

Why couldn't Shaq have said something like this on TNT??? I miss the pre-Shaq days.

I see a new show coming: 'Broke Former Athlete Survival House', an entertaining mixture of Big Brother and Survivor where desperate former millionaires completely demean themselves for a brief shot of celebrity and cash. TO, Warren and a bunch of boxers will lead off the first season.

I'm betting we'll be seeing him on a reality TV show very shortly.

My bet is we'll see him on Celebrity Rehab.
