09:29 AM ET 05.26 | Kings President and General Manager Dean Lombardi had strong words on Friday about the behavior of some of the Phoenix Coyotes players, condemning the post-game actions of goalie Mike Smith, who threw his stick toward an official and later lashed out at the officiating. Lombardi asserted that Smith incited the crowd at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz., after the Kings beat the Coyotes, 4-3, in overtime in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals. He referenced European soccer and the rules governing the actions of the players in terms of inciting the crowd. "What the courts said was that because the players attacked the officials -- because the players showed such disrespect for the officials -- that incited the crowd," Lombardi told The Times on Friday. "They blamed the players. Because those players were conducting themselves like that, it incited the crowd..."

Obviously the players weren't used to playing in front of fans during a home game.

Or getting their lunches handed to them like they did. Hopefully Lord Stanley resides in LA in the next two weeks. The last time we were there, still stings a little.

I think it was that hideous wolf howl that subliminally incited the crowds. I think coyotes yelping would have a more calming effect.

Can you help us with a demo, Canuck?

Depends on which Kings show up. Regular? Or, super unleaded?

The Kings were winning, the Yotes were whining, try and keep up with the story, its not that complicated.

Phoenix - the city where you get heckled for wearing the home team jersey. I'd be more concerned with the crowd rioting if the Kings had lost.

Now, what would a riot look like in Phoenix? Did they ever have one?

Where everyone is allowed to carry concealed? One finger salutes are rare in Phoenix.

C'mon, LA. You won. Why complain after that?

Dustin Brown took a cheap shot, so Phoenix had the right to feel bad about the ending. Nothing happened when the Coyotes lost that deserves the whining by LA. It's not like the crowd attacked the Kings or anything.

I guess you weren't paying attention at 17:56 in the 2nd of game 2, or for about 24 hours after the Kings won. What's that about "right"?
