09:48 AM ET 05.27 | Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor, who also is chairman of the NBA Board of Governors, has been watching his league's playoffs closely. "I don't think there's a clear champion, and that's a good thing," he said. It also means Taylor expects his Wolves to be in the playoffs next season. "We have the players to do it," he said. "We were close this season." Taylor also said his team is "going to try" the free-agent market.

Not so sure if they will be flocking there.

Take Joe Johnson for whatever you guys can give back. He'll be perfect with Love and Rubio.

QUOTE(#9):

they had a real nice season, until other teams revved up for the playoff push, then they basically fell apart....granted RR got hurtThey have some decent pieces, but need to unload 1 or 2 of their forwards and find someone that can play in the post and also a SG that can be more productive/attack

True across the board... should be able to fill the SG hole.

Always difficult to find that post player but there are plenty of hustle guys out there. They just have to hit on the right one.

Need to look for someone that can put the ball in the basket.

QUOTE(#10):

They have very little to offer. They would have to find a 3rd team.

Milicic (6M), Miller (5M), Wes Johnson (5M), Anthony Randolph(4M)
for Joe Johnson (19M)

T-Wolves owner thinking playoffs, free agents

...Just like 29 other NBA owners. What else is he suppose to say? Minnesota finished the season with a 39% winning percentage. They should be about the same next year. They have nothing (anybody wants) to trade, and nothing that would make a free agent want to go there.

QUOTE(#12):

I don't know if any other good PG will be available for them. Williams might be out of the question and maybe Dragic will stay away. Even Aaron Brooks won't go there unless they're willing to overpay him. I know Nash won't go there to start over...

If rubio comes back healthy and barrea stays then there is no big need for a pg...I'd say the major need right now is a sg that can attack and create for himself right now we got nothin of that sort outside of beasly who is a guy that is not consistent but did have some dam good games

You obviously didnt watch their games did you? they actually had a winning record for a while but rubio getting hurt took a huge toll on the team with a few other minor injuries here and there...also i believe they won more games than last year, not to mention it was a shortened season.....

Nonsense! The Vikings play there so they'll sign with the T-wolves to make Minny the Sports Mecca of the country!
