08:16 AM ET 05.28 | Having reportedly wheeled in the likes of Jerry Sloan, Patrick Ewing, Nate McMillan, Dave Joerger, Mike Malone, Nate Tibbetts, Mike Dunlap and Stephen Silas, Charlotte appears not to be done yet. [The Bobcats] are in the process of setting up an interview with Indiana Pacers assistant Brian Shaw, perhaps as soon as next week. They also plan to meet with Los Angeles Lakers assistant Quin Snyder in Chicago before the NBA pre-draft camp the first week in June, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard. ... The Bobcats decided not to renew Paul Silas' contract after the team finished 7-59 this season for the worst winning percentage in league history (.106).

THOUGHTS & PRAYERS FROM A GRATEFUL NATION..

Does anyone really want this job? That sure is a lot coaches to have interviewed.

Seriously, who would want to work for the worst GM/owner in NBA history.

MJ is turrible.

I am not surprised more of his players haven't pull a Diaw, and just pack it in hoping to be cut.

If the Bobcats truly want to win then the choice is really simple...........Sloan or McMillian, the only two who would not suck up to Mike and be told what to do. All the others in all likelihood would be influence by Mike and we all know the results of Mike's input.

Aside from Sloan all those names has no coaching experience in the NBA. Even if this is the Bobcats a head coaching job is still better than any assistant coach in the NBA.

I dont know.....i can see Sloan being great for this team, but it depends on how much power he's given. I can see Shaw being the favorite, though, with Malone and Snyder close behind. I dont see McMillan getting it though people think hes the favorite. By the way, @jgb...Rambis hasnt gotten any calls because he is an awful coach, maybe the worst I can remember in the NBA. Personally, i think shaw or sloan work best.
