'Mount Cody' figures he lost too much weight last year

08:02 AM ET 05.29 | Terrence Cody may have trimmed a little too much off the frame that gave him a big name. The Baltimore Ravens' beefy nose guard is still massive at a listed 6-foot-4, 349 pounds, but the former second-round draft pick from Alabama has made a few improvements. Although "Mount Cody" remains a hefty presence inside, he has restructured his bulk and lost a considerable amount of body fat since his rookie campaign two years ago. ... Tipping the scales at nearly 400 pounds a few years ago, Cody may have lost too much weight during the NFL lockout. "I feel like I am getting a lot stronger," Cody said. "Losing that weight last year kind of made me a little weak because I lost it a little too fast."

Supposedly Rex dropped about 90 pounds in the off-season. I'm surprised that hasn't made it's way into the daily J-E-T-S soap opera update.

Yes, but that was just off his plate at the buffet. I can't believe we've gotten this far in without our morning JETS slogan.

349 is way too heavy as well. Curious how the NFL will handle upcoming lawsuits from players that sue because this heavy weight helped destroy their hearts, knees, feet, ... ? If players can sue because of concussions, which are a result of playing, that is one thing. But having players exceed 300 lbs is basically a requirement for linemen, so would seem the NFL is more liable there.

Ya he had his stomach stapled. I have a friend who went from 260 to 127 pounds with that procedure.

When there are more Xs on your shirt than letters in your name, it is time to cut back.

"beefy?" Really? If 349-400 lbs is considered "beefy," then what is 400-500 lbs.? Robust?

When they stop using human scales to weigh a person and start using ones intended for livestock then you know you weigh to much.
