08:07 AM ET 05.29 | Coming out of the holiday weekend, Portland is starting big. Literally. The team will hold its first predraft workout Tuesday in preparation for next month's NBA draft and two of the six visitors will be highly touted 7-foot center prospects: North Carolina's Tyler Zeller and Illinois' Meyers Leonard. The workout also will feature three guards and a forward -- including Portland native Garrett Sim -- but the headliners are the two centers who are first-round locks and potential lottery selections. The Blazers, who could have as many as two lottery picks next month, are desperate for frontline help and Zeller and Leonard are widely considered two of the top three center prospects in the draft.

Does this mean they've given up on Greg Oden? No matter; the Trailblazers are almost certain to make the wrong decision.

QUOTE(#15):

Nope. Just released him. This was his last season w/ Portland anyways. Portland just extended him for 1 year which is the 2011-2012 season. He is a free agent now...

My son just told me he has decided to take off the '12-'13 season to rehab. Isn't this what he's been doing for 4 years?

As a Blazer fan I can tell you this. That the hospital near the Rose Garden is waiting for the next Blazer player.

It's sad when the bench looks more like a hospital ward.
