08:08 AM ET 05.29 | The Heat, particularly LeBron James, who did so literally at Kevin Garnet, had a good laugh at the Celtics' expense in Monday night's Game 1. Garnett said he thought the Heat was showboating "a little" at the end. "When you're comfortable, you do things like that," Garnett said. "We have to make sure we take them out of their comfort zone." Rivers said the Heat "had way too many layups. There's no way any team should get that many layups against our defense." Rondo said he doesn't advocate anything "dirty" but the Heat players "have to hit the deck, too." Said [Doc Rivers]: "We let [Dwyane Wade] and James play in extreme comfort, and we gave the other guys everything they wanted as well. LeBron and Wade -- their defense was phenomenal."

I'm sure that the 5 technicals may have had something to do with this as well.

I know that the Heatles are the most bestestest and greatestest team of all times, but the refs shouldn't be in on it, but it looks like they are.

MeBron gets in the ref's face all the time. No technical.

Doc Rivers asks "What was that?", gets a technical.

It's been going downhill for the refs for a while, but now it actually looks like there is a fix in.

5 technicals in the 1st half. Message sent. Celts, you ain't winnin' this.

QUOTE(#15):

Funny but the C's always got "the calls" during the 60's and when Bird was there and not a peep out of the Celtic fans about the "unfairness" of the officiating. Now, when it doesn't go their way, they are suddenly surprised about the fix being in.

You watched all those games in the 60's huh?

Careful.

The last time a team decided to get dirty Lebron and Dwade went for 40 pts.

The Cs are just salty that they are old. The refs call that game tight and after these comments by self check Rondo, I wouldn't be surprised if they called it even closer in game 2.
