08:04 AM ET 05.30 | Tom Coughlin barely had to speak to make his feelings known on this one. The Giants tried to bring back Plaxico Burress once. But they have no plans to do it again. With one emphatic shake of his head, [Coughlin] made that clear on Tuesday morning, just before the Giants Foundation Golf Outing at Westchester Country Club. Big Blue lost top wideout Hakeem Nicks, who broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Thursday, and aside from Victor Cruz, the Giants have little experience in the receiving corps. Still, Coughlin quickly dismissed any thought of bringing back Burress, who spent last season with the Jets and is currently a free agent. When asked about a Burress return, the coach shook his head and mouthed one word: "No."

He's so damn irrelevant that even Fan Nation isn't posting a thread on it.

Like Dole said last night... his ass is heading to jail because he didn't "love glove" it...

Even with an ownership stake the team couldn't deal with T.O.'s typical nonsense. CLASSIC!

Nicks isn't going to be out the season.

Better off not rushing it, but he could be back by opening day.

Just in time to test drive the Cowboys new secondary.

Can't wait to see who he blames on the Wranglers for this...

Probably that Children's Hospital's fault. How dare they actually expect him to keep a promise.

Yep... and without that weird looking woman reminding him of those $25M reasons...

Wait - those $25M reasons are gone.

He didn't really slam it shut, he never opened it.

His career died in Buffalo. Then he spent a year as the walking dead in Cincy.

Why would he visit other children when he won't even visit his own?
