08:05 AM ET 05.30 | For the first time since 2003, the Colts are seeking outside help to move tickets. With 3,000 season tickets still available for the 2012 season, the Indianapolis Colts have contracted with a local company to help with sales. But no one is using the "B" word. "We're not anticipating being blacked out," Pete Ward, the club's chief operating officer, said Tuesday. ... The Colts have sold out 113 of their past 114 regular-season and playoff games, including 79 in succession since a Sept. 21, 2004, game with Jacksonville. After a 2-14 season and the March 7 release of iconic quarterback Peyton Manning, Colts season-ticket renewals slipped to 87 percent.

They gave so much money to Peyton last year that now they can't pay their electric bill?

Indy. A great place for a nap.

A party? In Indianapolis?

I miss Dandy Don. I really do. Cosell. Meredith. Gifford. Karras. Those were when MNF was worth staying up late for. Until Don began to sing that song and give us permission to go to bed.

Oh well... at least they have windows on that shiny new stadium... and a retractable roof.

Peyton put the butts in the seats.............

He is still getting $16 million from the colts as we speak. Maybe he will buy some seats and give them away?

Once a year...for the Indy 500.

They will sell the tickets. This is not an issue.

Is Irsay starting to wonder if they made a mistake cutting Peyton?

Irsay made a mistake of releasing Polian as well. (Cleveland would do well to hire him.) Once Irsay started becoming the "face/spokesperson for the team" things started going badly. He's become a bit like Mark Cuban was a few years back; he at least learned to start keeping his mouth shut.

Won't matter, nobody is going to want to watch them anyways.

The learning curve will be steep for Luck.

Polian did not exactly endear himself to the rest of the league during his days in Indy. It's not surprising he is unemployed and I won't be surprised if any and all future job offers come from terrible organizations where he would be hard pressed to recreate the Peyton Manning years.

Following a legend, albeit a whiny one with a track record of gacking it in the big games, is going to make his job very difficult.
