Changes in store for Jays

08:12 AM ET 05.30 | Not long after the Blue Jays made a roster move to bolster the middle of the infield, manager John Farrell hinted at more changes to come before the weekend. "We're monitoring everything," [Farrell] said. Both Kelly Johnson (hamstring) and Yunel Escobar (groin) are playing through injuries, so Mike McCoy gives some immediate insurance. If either Johnson or Escobar aggravates his injury badly enough to go on the disabled list, Farrell has another idea in mind. "At that point we would have, probably, a lengthy internal discussion about Hech (Adeiny Hechavarria)," Farrell said. Hechavarria is going to be out of the Vegas lineup the next couple of days. ... With two off-days in the next six days, the Jays may also make some rotation adjustments.

I know it's hard to believe, but there is actually a great big world outside of the good ol' U.S.A. And if you can believe it, in that world we don't talk about politics and Nascar 24/7. From what I can see while watching the American channels we get here in Canada, that's all you guys are interested in.

Shocking. The Jays are at .500 for the 8903th time in the last 5 years.

Why would the team sign Vlad? They are taking at bats away from younger guys such as Travis Snider. Makes no sense...

its like watching the tortoise and the hare...you yanks have the ego's of the hare...and yet in the end...who wins? The Blue Jays are building a massive pool of young talent right under all of your noses. If you pay any attention, they are morphing from an old .500 team to the youngest team in baseball. Yeah they are 3 games over .500 but they have the youngest and most lethal upside potential of any team in baseball. You just all go back to sleep and when you wake up wondering what hit you you will find out that a Blue Jay just dumped on you.
