08:17 AM ET 05.30 | Welcome to the rivalry, Logan Tuley-Tillman. [Tuley-Tillman], a four-star offensive lineman from Peoria, Ill., wanted to make sure there was no misconception about his allegiance to coach Brady Hoke and the Wolverines. So, when he received a letter from rival Ohio State, he did the most Michigan thing ever and decided to light it on fire and post the photo on Twitter. Of course, this has made Tuley-Tillman a hero to Michigan fans and a villain for those who support the Buckeyes. Tuley-Tillman told Yahoo! Sports that ever since he posted the photo, Ohio State fans have become unruly. "There have been a couple death threats," Tuley-Tillman said. "And they've been sending my mom messages on Facebook."

Well, "Fan" comes from "Fanatic".

This reminds me of my daughter's softball game last weekend. An opposing parent got so fanatical that he actually yelled to his daughter to "knock the runner down" with an easy tag (in between the base and the runner and the runner was slowing down). The Ump actually had to give him a warning and remind him this is 8U softball.

Dude...this isn't 8U MMA. Chill.

We don't have a children problem in this country. IMHO we have a parent problem as evidenced by this example. If it isn't a nut like this it's a helicopter parent not doing the kid any good either.

Just think, in 2014 this dude decides tSUN isn't for him and transfers to tOSU like that O-line guy did. All the sudden I bet all the death threat guys fall in love with him. Fairly odd that the color on the jersey you wear can lead to that level of emotional change in someone else.

I don't find that odd at all.

Really, you like or dislike some dude as a person based on the team they play for? As a matter of policy I dislike every team from LA, Chicago, and NYC, but there are plenty of decent people playing for all those pro teams.
