08:02 AM ET 05.31 | Jason Babin, having recently survived the elements on a glacier in Alaska, has his sights fixed on a new expedition. The Eagles' Pro Bowl defensive end said he planned to run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, this July "It's kind of a rite of passage," Babin said Wednesday after his first spring practice. "It's a stamp. I guess in my brain I have a figurative 'man card' that's got certain punches that need to be punched out." ... One may question whether running with the bulls in Pamplona, where many have suffered injury and sometimes death, is proper behavior for a professional football player. "Everyone thinks it's dangerous and hazardous," Babin said. But it's not, if "done correctly and soberly," he added.

Certainly not the first Darwin Award winner from the NFL.

May 31, 2012  09:47 AM ET

will Babin have to partake in the rookie cowbine for the Pamplona draft?

May 31, 2012  09:50 AM ET

Babin will now have an idea as to what it's like to be a QB getting chased out of the pocket.

Climbing glaciers, running with bulls, jumping from airplanes, racing cars, playing football...men doing manly things. That's refreshing after all the choirboy and punk *** lawyer talk around here this summer. Do you think if Babin were to spit in Goodells' mouth his balls might finally drop.

Maybe he could get Ruthlessgroper out there with him. I wonder if he'd wear a helmet for that?
First time I'd be cheering for the Bulls since the days of Michael Jordan!

Babin is one screwed up M......erF......er Usually people that have to announce and prove to others that they are masculine are usually the people that aren't very sure of their own masculinity. Jason time for you to come out of the closet and tell your teammates how you feel about them.
