Charles Mack, a safety from Wesleyan, said he checked his mailbox last week and discovered a big package from Georgia Tech. It was really big. "I opened it up, and it had typed letters, hand-written letters, newsletters from the school ... 52 in all," Mack told the AJC. "I was shocked and surprised. I started reading all of them, and I still haven't finished." ... "I think it caught all of us by surprise," said Mack's father, Charles II, who played fullback at Georgia Tech from 1983-87. "For them to send 52 letters through the mail in one day, including a personal letter from each coach on the staff, it spoke highly of Georgia Tech."

Can't believe kids are still getting one item of snail mail in this day and age...much less 52? Do they even know how to open a real letter? Didn't think they even paid attention to anything that wasn't done electronically.
