08:11 AM ET 06.01 | According a Thursday report, the Cubs were open for business and ready to trade anyone not named Jeff Samardzija. [Despite that report, Theo Epstein] said star shortstop Starlin Castro isn't expected to be going anywhere in the near future. ... Better add Castro to the list of players the Cubs won't be shopping on the open market. "Starlin Castro is the type of player we're looking to build around," Epstein said Thursday. "There has been no trade consideration with him, whatsoever." Despite a low walk total, Castro has been a force on offense for the Cubs and has shown improvement defensively. He is batting .317 and has 32 RBIs, tied for the lead among shortstops in all of baseball with the Red Sox's Mike Aviles.

Cmon Theo...you traded Nomah, you can trade Castro. He should be part of the comp to the Bosox for your immense brainpower going to the Cubs, be a good boy and ship him over here.

Don't want him. Don't need him.

Same for Theo.

I'll bet Theo is feeling homesick right about now.

I think it's about time for a re-enactment.

I think the Cubs need to trade with the Bucs. Several years back the Bucs help the Cubs become a contender. Now it is their time to return the favor and help the Bucs contend.
