08:21 AM ET 06.01 | And to think, where would the Badgers had Danny O'Brien not transferred from Maryland to Madison? When preseason camp opens in August, Wisconsin likely will have only three healthy quarterbacks on the roster. That trio: [O'Brien]; walk-on Joel Stave, who closed spring practice as the No. 1 quarterback; and Joe Brennan, the No. 2 quarterback at the end of spring ball. Curt Phillips, who is entering his redshirt senior season, is trying to come back from another surgery on his right knee and has not played since the 2009 season. UW coach Bret Bielema revealed Wednesday that Jon Budmayr and freshman Bart Houston would not be available because of medical issues.

Honestly, do you need more than 3? Worst case scenario if 3 go down you take a WR/RB and run a spread.

I think it's a plot to get DO to play immediately....

LOL

LSU had a decent year without a quality QB.

The way Bulimia "plays" in the grey areas of the rule book, I gotta believe he has a copy of BSB's "Cheating Handbook" .....or at least the cliff notes version.

QUOTE(#7):

should have said average qb play

I'd say average QB play with VERY FEW mistakes.

This does sound like a few medical schollies will be handed out in the future. Bielema must have some nice recruits lined up, so the open slots will be needed :)

It's going ok. My girl has missed two weeks of practice due to various bugs. I like what the coach has them doing. I think some of the stuff may be a little over their heads, but ultimately will pay off down the road as they catch on to it.

I think the coach and his family will be there also. He mentioned it a few weeks ago. If I wasn't on a new job, I would have seriously considered it. Have fun! Maybe the game will be a better contest than US v Brazil :(
