08:46 AM ET 06.02 | The unending offseason saga of the New Orleans Saints took a curious, personal turn Friday when an independent filmmaker accused prominent players, including quarterback Drew Brees, of deserting him in the clutch. Sean Pamphilon, a documentarian who was working on a film about ALS-afflicted former Saints special team ace Steve Gleason, took to the Internet and the airwaves to say Brees and Browns linebacker Scott Fujita first urged him to release a tape of suspended former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and then, when the tape proved explosive, allowing Pamphilon to appear as a villain who had betrayed Gleason's trust.

The Saints management and players would do well to stay very quiet. The same for the NFLPA. You start turning rocks over and what you find, you own.

I think Brees knew about this before this Pamphilon "broke" the story. So, I don't buy this. This guy was given access through a special trust developed between him and Gleason. Even Gleason won't talk with this guy anymore. Williams was an idiot for giving such a talk knowing that a documentary was being recorded and that non-team members were in the room.

Mornin Mick and 50.

Hello. Have to go to a nephews wedding this afternoon. Jeesh. Hate that stuff. What good is the internet if they cannot get married digitally. Pointless.

And you can still have the arguments if needed, just less annoying.

hello my good man.

Just how stupid were these players and coaches. Goodell has a ledger they kept on it all. Nothing like the hold up man leaving his phone number and address at the scene of the crime.

I heard about that. Talk about details. Breakdowns for cartoffs, and even penalties for taking plays off.

On a boat for petes sake. Who gets married on a boat? The pilgrims did that. Not even a real captain.

It is all there. Not a good idea for anyone to pursue it further. George Atallah is the spokesperson for the players. He would do well to tell them all to just shut uuuuup!

Everybody's got to do something unique these days. Not so much about the wedding as making sure it's talked about. Maybe they're looking for a YouTube submission for something funny, weird that happens.

Not in this day and age. Players like the camera and the media. As long as they think someone will listen, they'll sing.
